My name is Michelle Walsh. I grew up in West Branch, Iowa. After graduating from high school, I moved to Iowa City, where I attended Kirkwood Community College. While attending Kirkwood, I decided that I would go to LaJames Cosmetology College so that I could work as a stylist and help put myself through college. I liked this industry so much that I put my college career on hold and moved to Minneapolis, MN to become a cosmetologist. I have spent 20 years in the salon industry and can’t imagine doing anything else. I have trained with Aveda for 18 of those 20 years and am very passionate about their products and beliefs. I continue to train with Aveda and keep current on the latest trends and products. This is my passion.
